Sam Foerster, President

Sam Foerster is an engineer and entrepreneur who over the past 15 years has been responsible for the turnaround and increased profitability of two manufacturing businesses. Between 1995 and 2003, Mr. Foerster was President and owner of J4 Inc., a manufacturer of solenoid coils used as original equipment in heat pumps by Trane and Carrier. After tripling sales, productivity and profitability, Mr. Foerster sold J4 Inc. as a vibrant going concern to Macon Electric Coil in January 2003.

Since 2002, Mr. Foerster has been owner of Mel-Ray Industries, a supplier of pre-stretched wood and aluminum screens to the screen printing industry. From 2006 to 2007 he took Mel-Ray to the web, co-developing and managing a modular, custom e-commerce site which is currently ranked on page 1 of Google for the company’s primary search terms.

Cayce Balara, Vice-President

Cayce Balara has worked in the software industry since 1994, spending more than half of that time working for major software vendors, including 6 years as an implementation consultant for PeopleSoft, Inc. In that capacity, he was responsible for the design and implementation of functional business process solutions for customers of the company’s Financial and Human Capital Management product lines. Mr. Balara led the technical teams of several multi-million-dollar projects.

As a Business Applications Delivery Manager at a major transportation company, Mr. Balara was the project manager for software development and implementation projects involving web-based software applications and the integration of multiple technology platforms. Mr. Balara’s knowledge of technology spans multiple fields, with an emphasis on business process improvement through intelligent software design and development.
